Received my first pair of Ugg boots for Christmas and I have fallen in love with them.
SIZING
I found my boots to be wide I did not size down thinking I would need room for extra socks. If I buy another pair I will size down since the extra socks are not necessary.
The upper boot is large enough to fit comfortable over my calves and I am able to tuck my pants into the boots.
STYLE
I like the style of the boots I wear a size 8 and do think the look a little large but the sheepskin trim is attractive and I have a light tan color which is slightly lighter then the color of the boot.
COMFORT
The first time I put these boots on I felt like it was wearing a pair of slippers. They are soft inside and very comfortable.
I am a walker and find them easy to walk in I did notice the tread is not as suitable to walking on icy sidewalks I seemed to slide a bit. In the soft snow they were fine it was just the ice that bothered me a little.
My feet are always cold and I got these boots hoping that they would keep me warm when I was outside. I found this to be so true I walked for a half hour in zero degrees and my feet did not get cold at all. This is such a wonderful thing for me since I wear two pairs of socks sometimes to keep warm. I was amazed at how warm my feet were and when people say you could wear these boots without socks it is true your feet would stay warm.
WATERPROOFING
I bought some Ugg brand waterproofing spray which I used on my boots before wearing them I would recommend this since I think water spots might show on the suede.
They kept my feet dry and I think I will treat them each year before I wear them.
OVERALL
I would recommend these boots to anyone who works outside and wants to keep there feet warm. They do the job in a stylish way. The cost is high but to me the cost is worth the warmth.
COST
These boots are not cheap I payed $200.00 for mine at a local shoe store.
The price of these boots at Zappas was very similar.
