Currently in every fashion magazines, you can see an old favorite the Strong Shoulders. This is comeback relishes in  new designed dresses and you will see it in every fashion shows from Milan to New York.  I have seen models wearing this up and down the cat walk this entire fashion season . This is the newest fashion craze among designers and I think I like it.


This is not the first time we have seen the  strong shoulder and we just have to look back at two well loved peroids of modern fashion to trace their roots.  Any one can admit that this form is not new to fashion world and has been well-known prior and became an icon of the decadent 1980s and before then the 1940s,  however mainly the recent iteration of the style expresses a much more dramatic and sophisticated outcome. At present there are basically two styles of the bold-shouldered appearance making their way through the fashion industry.  For instance Stella McCartney and Marc Jacobs jackets have a boyish and boxier cut, whereas Balenciaga, Balmain, and Givenchy provided up more solid shapes, sharper with a bit of prance. Despite the proportion, on the whole, the outcome was one of femininity and potency.

Focusing on the fashion forward initial adopters, one can see how they dress in a new shape and many are opting to wear black as a sign of how to effectively  integrate the trend into their individual clothes and style. The lean sleeves and rightly articulated shoulders looked wonderfully elegant, particularly when worn with black jeans and a neutral, draping shirt. Mary-Kate Olsen was spotted wearing one recently ; this proves that the bold-shoulder will work on a much diminutive structure.

Everyone also loves a forties-inspired and subtler look. These Strong Shoulders are now very much popular all over the world. In every fashion show that you go to, you will see the reemergence of the  Strong Shoulders. This style is widely accepted by all designers  and fashion lovers of the world. I know my mother would be so happy to know that her favorite power suit is back in .
