Paris Hilton apparently did not do enough research when designing her shoes and is now being sued for copywrite ingrngement over a heart placed in the insole of her shoes. According to Paris “I personally chose the styling, design, materials and colors for the line and also wanted to make sure it was super-comfortable! Each shoe has a heart-shaped comfort pad sewn in…so you can dance all night long!” The problem though is the shoe brand Gwyneth had already copyrighted a heart shaped design in the insole of the shoe back in 2007, Paris did not come out with her lien until 2008. Gwyneth is asking not only for Paris to stop copying them, but they are also requesting that Paris return all of the “infringed” shoes.
My thought though is, it is now 2010 why is Gwyneth now coming forward with this lawsuit?
