You may not have heard of Hayden – Harnett yet, but you will soon I guarantee. Hayden Harnett is a Brooklyn based company that produces handbags, shoes, and accessories. This company was founded in 2005 by Toni Hacker and Benjamin Harnett. They have been featured in numerous fashion magazines and New York fashion week. The colors they choose for their products are bold and invigorating. Hayden-Harnett is not timid in their design choices either. Their fall / winter 09 lines have lots of great purples and oranges. They also have picked up on the popular studded look this season.
Hayden-Harnett has a great grasp on what their customers’ needs are. A great example of this is their clutch bags. Many other brands think what makes a clutch great is to make it as small as they can; Hayden-Harnett makes practical clutches that are actually large enough to hold more than just your credit card or lipstick. Their bags are made of some of the softest leathers out there and their bags the interiors are lined with equally as soft cloth fabrics. Another great feature of their bags are the closures which are magnetic so you do not have to deal with zipper and snaps that often get stuck or are not easy to do so without putting the bag down and using both of your hands to do so. Hayden-Harnett keeps this in consideration and many of their bags have an adjustable strap so you can wear your bag the perfect way for yourself.
While it is their handbags that have been getting most of the attention, it is important to remember that they design more than just bags. They have great accessories and clothing and their newest venture is into footwear. They incorporate the same beliefs into these lines as well.
