Blazers are great to get you preppy and smart look. Mostly a bid help for formal wear, blazers are common to see in offices, hotels, schools, and also on shopping malls. It is a bit formal, but also of some sexy feels. Some of the popular styles we often hear are such as the schoolboy-style, the Balenciaga-inspired style, the boyfriend blazer, the cropped blazer, the fitted style, the extra long blazer for hippy look, and others. You should have at least some blazers in stock. They can give different overall look to your shirts and even dresses just in time. Some celebrities that have proven the fashion power of blazers are Gwenyth Paltrow, Rebecca Romijn, and Amanda Peet.
How to wear blazers? Well, jeans, skirts, and heels can be best combination. For some ideas, you can take long and almost fitted blazer with chic dresses of the same or more length. Or you can take it with skinny jeans and booties for sexy and a bit of cowboy look. Long blazer can also be paired with tank tops and pencil skirt, especially if the skirt is really tight. Color is not a problem, at all. You decide whether you want to look glamorous with one or more radiant colors or to look formal and mysterious in calm and dark ones. The color for the whole package matters if your blazer is open. What else you can pair blazers with? Party dresses can also look good in standard-length blazers, for a daring combination of fun and formal. The party dresses should be mid-length so that you have good focus comparison between the top (blazer) and bottom (the rest of the dress). Combining blazers with dresses that have volume on the bottom parts may look best. But it just depends on how far you can go. Boyfriend blazers are a hot trend at the moment and will carry over into spring 2010. A few tips for a boyfriend blazer are for it to be a size bigger than you normally do, but making sure it is not ridiculously big, and either pushing or rolling up the sleeves to show off your wrists. Blazers are a great addition to any wardrobe, whether you plan on using it as an accessory to be removed at some point or if you plan on wearing it as part of your outfit.
