Bettye Muller’s shoes are classic, unique, and beautiful. She uses prints and colors in many different ways, and she has said before that her designs “have a distinct look….each one tells a story.” I don’t really know how to describe them, but they have “retro” roots, but still manage to look very trendy. Here are a few favorites.
The “Casino” sandal is a sling-back, that comes in a floral print. They have platform soles and a 3 1/4 inch heel. They work well with dresses and skirts. Very eye-catching!
While we’re on the subject of sling-backs, the “Resort” patent leather shoe is a sexy and sophisticated choice. Their 2.75 inch heels look great with almost any outfit, and are fine for a warm evening. They are adorned with a golden buckle, and they come in white, navy and purple.
Fans of flats- we haven’t forgotten you! Muller’s “Cruise” flat, also in patent leather, will appeal to heel wearers as well. They come in colors like black, white and fuchsia, and they have a slight, one-half inch heel. They would work great with slacks or a skirt.
Bettye Muller’s designs really defy description, but they are all as unique as they are beautiful. Each one is classy, sexy and sophisticated, like a character in an Alfred Hitchcock novel. These shoes are inspired by the looks of the ’30s and ’40s, but with a modern twist that makes them irresistible.
