We have secured some of the best professional clogs in the world Danclog.  Danclogs are still made in Denmark as they have been for the last 33 years.  They are only being sold in Denmark but we did manage to receive some.

Danclog’s insole or inner tread surface is 2 mm thick leather over a 3 mm polyurethane foam and active carbon filter that reduces foot perspiration considerably. The active carbon filter provides comfort and conforms to the shape of your foot.

Danclog’s Sole is made of single density polyurethane material. It is oil resistant and heat resistant to temperatures up to 266 F . The built in Danclog Shock Absorber absorbs and distributes pressure over the entire surface of the sole, which protects your back and joints. In addition, the specially designed sole pattern is non-skid and has ladder grip. To ensure comfort and secure fit, the Danclog instep is a padded with foam.

Danclog Skagen comes in both Oiled and Box Leather.

Oiled Leather Danclog is made of aniline leather. Aniline Leather is colored all the way through with a transparent dye. The Finish is transparent and shows the natural markings of the leather, only the highest quality hides are used. I just saw the new Dansko summer line and I was really impressed.  They have really gone far in designing sandals that are comfortable as their normal Dansko line but are much more stylish . Plus the added green campaign makes it much more attractive us Eco nuts.

A lot of people ask me Jim, how come you do not offer free shipping , your shipping seems high compared to where I bought my shoes at lets just say Zappos .   I usually counter back with the normal industry remark of there is no such thing as free shipping . The consumer pays it and with free shipping the consumer usually pays even more.   I had one customer demand me to offer free shipping because store “x” was doing even though my product was 90 dollars less and shipping was only 8 dollars.  I told them if they paid the 90 additional dollars then I would be happy to give them free shipping , but they didnt.   You see the shipping is usually built into the price of the product  so you must always look at price of both shipping and item cost and compare.

But there is another way a customer pays more : for example I sell shoe “x” for 24.99 plus 8.99 shipping total =33.98 my competitor sells the same item “x” for 33.98 with no shipping , we are both selling the shoe for the same price with everything counted , but here where things are different if you buy two items , I will offer 50 percent off shipping for your next item , so the additional item cost my customer 29.48  while my competitor with free shipping will charge them the same 33.98 since there is no discount to be given and once again the customer pays more for free shipping .
